About Manifest West
While songs like “The City Sleeps Alone”, “Long Haul (Hold on Closely)” and “Fall Damage” amassed thousands of streams and won over alternative & indie rock fans, the midwestern band that is Manifest West spent the better most of their year playing countless shows across their IL hometown and beyond to the country’s coastlines, earning a dedicated following in the process.
The members - Cade Whitt, Levi Isaac, Roan O’Brien, Coggan Banerian - left a loud mark on their alternative scene through rowdy live shows, sickeningly-funny banter and even wilder on-stage antics while ripping through fast and equally soft rock ‘n roll tunes. But, the end of a long run of shows came, and future releases returned to the minds of the members.
Now, after much time in the studio and anticipation, MW presents their brand spanking new EP - ‘through & threw.” - out everywhere January 24th, 2025. Previously unreleased fan favorites and staples of their live set are now released for all to hear and savor. Manifest West couldn’t be prouder of what they’ve created and they’re excited for both longtime fans & newcomers to follow for what else lies on the horizon.
While writing their sophomore EP, the band began working with keys player Zane Krile. The EP “I Just Feel Nothing at All” was released on January 26th, 2024. Notably, this EP marks somewhat of a transition for the band - the EP is laden with several different styles of music, including huge alt-rock power anthems, an acoustic song, an ambient semi-electronic song, and even a song in which the lyrical delivery is reminiscent of spoken-word. Their versatility is celebrated by fans, especially when considering the bands ability to incorporate new elements into their songs, while still remaining true to their original sound.
